I managed to easily find 10 thoughts. I found the differentiation of “things” I am ashamed about and “thoughts” I am ashamed about very important. It is very easy to think about/remember things I am ashamed off, but really it is the underlying thought that causes suffering. The thought itself might not necessary be shameful, so I had to search a bit deeper. Investigating shameful thoughts is very humbling, since we all see ourself as so righteous, since we may not have acted on behaved accordingly any of those thoughts, but we have some “shameful” thoughts regardless

I love that you experience investigating into shameful thoughts as humbling, Danielle. That has been my experience too. It also makes me understand why people do certain (shameful) things. They are believing their thoughts!
