Everybody should find out:
– to finally break with long held secrets, taboo’s and dogma’s
so good to notice it is for me and for others, so they might share having the same thought; bringing people together instead of apart.
Thought of another TA-
The shameful thought should find out about everybody.
– one of the most painful parts of shame is the feeling of isolation. If this painful thought saw that everybody is really just like them they might feel better.
– If the shameful thought opened up to who everybody actually is (love, acceptance) they might feel better
(just realized I’m not sure that was a TA. Maybe a more accurate TA would be
This thought should find out about nobody.
– maybe because the reality is the shameful thought doesn’t see beyond itself. It’s trapped itself into the prison of shame. There is nothing else in the world that can exist when it is around.
I can see how the 2nd TA would officially fit better , but I just love the examples! The top ingredient of shame is secretiveness, and that creates loneliness and isolation. So if the thought would see how common it is, it would probably feel connectiveness instead 🙂
I see another TA:
I should find out (about this thought)
To finally look ‘the monster’ in the eye. To let it come out of the dungeons of our mind. To discover that this thought is not dangerous at all. To meet it as a friend.
maybe a TA – I should find out about this thought. I should question it, get curious about it, be with it in stead of suppressing it and hiding it from myself.
TA: I should find out (about this thought)
ex: This though is like a part in me who has been so patient and kind – and willing to trigger me until I give it my loving attention – instead of wanting to ignore it and punish it.
It want unconditionally love – just like the rest of me.
How loving this sounds. Our thoughts as our guru’s <3
